Core faculty members are defined by CACREP accreditation standards as full-time faculty whose primary professional responsibilities lie within the counseling program. They are actively engaged in teaching, scholarship, service, and program governance, and they hold a doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision from a CACREP-accredited program. Core faculty play a central role in shaping the curriculum, mentoring students, and maintaining the integrity and quality of the program.
