Mark J. Kralj, Class of 1977
Mark was a retired principal at Ferguson Wellman Capital Management and a champion for ÐÇ¿ÕÓ°ÊÓ and ÐÇ¿ÕÓ°ÊÓ-Cascades. He held volunteer leadership positions at ÐÇ¿ÕÓ°ÊÓ, serving on the board of the College of Business and as chair of the ÐÇ¿ÕÓ°ÊÓ Foundation Board of Trustees during the lead up to the $1.1 billion Campaign for ÐÇ¿ÕÓ°ÊÓ. He served on countless nonprofit boards across the state, and he and his wife, Kathy, supported many nonprofit causes, including in Central Oregon. The Kraljs were named to the ÐÇ¿ÕÓ°ÊÓ Foundation’s Harris Society, recognizing cumulative gifts to the university of $1 million or more. Mark served on ÐÇ¿ÕÓ°ÊÓ-Cascades’ Advocacy and Advisory Board from 2017 until his death in 2024.
Mark's daughter, Emily Kralj, will accept the award on behalf of the Kralj family.
